Scope

The North East Regional e-Science Centre (neresc) is iLAB:e-Science at Newcastle University. neresc provides support for scientists in the development of quality solutions to their informatics research problems. This can be provided through Database intensive computing on the Grid and now Cloud computing; development of communication, awareness and training activities in e-Science related fields. neresc also acts as outreach to companies and other academic organisations in the North East of England.
